Valparaiso and Viña del Mar
Broaden your cultural horizons on this incredible tour of a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Valparaíso is Chile’s cultural capital; in the land of the “ascensores” (some of which have been in operation for over 100 years), you can visit the home of Chilean poet Pablo Neruda and learn more about the city that, in the 19th century, was one of South America’s major ports. And to keep track of the time, check out the famous flower clock in Viña del Mar, Chile’s “garden city,” which features beautiful buildings inspired by European architecture, such as the iconic Wulff Castle and Brunet Castle, as well as the only moai outside of Easter Island, located on the façade of the Fonck Museum.
