Panoramic Andes
Catch a glimpse of the world's largest mountain range! It is almost 9,000 km long, connecting seven South American countries: Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Argentina, and Chile. You will be charmed when you see the Andean condor, one of the largest flying birds in the whole world and watch up close the snow accumulated at the top of the mountains, which feeds Chilean rivers and waterfalls.
Portillo
Discover the incredible landscape of Portillo. According to local legend, Laguna del Inca is emerald-green because a princess fell into the lagoon on her wedding day and her eyes painted the color of the water. This is where South America's oldest ski resort is located, opened in 1949, with over 120 rooms!
Valparaiso and Viña del Mar
Enhance your cultural knowledge on this incredible tour of a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Valparaíso is the cultural capital of Chile, in the land of “ascensores” (some of which have been in operation for over 100 years), where one of the houses of Chilean poet Pablo Neruda is located. Learn more about the city that was once one of the main ports in South America in the 19th century. And so you don't lose track of time, you can check the famous flower clock in Viña del Mar, Chile's garden city, which boasts beautiful buildings inspired by European architecture, such as the iconic Castillo Wulff and Castillo Brunet, as well as seeing up close the only moai outside Easter Island, on the front of the Fonck Museum.
Isla Negra, Algarrobo, and Undurraga
How about a little bit of everything? Discover the Chilean coastline, the history of Pablo Neruda, and enjoy some fine wines! That's what you'll find on this tour. Isla Negra is where Pablo Neruda and his wife, Matilde, are buried. In Algarrobo, you can visit the largest saltwater pool in Latin America, which is over 1 km long. While in Undurraga, you can visit the winery that bears the same name as its founder, Francisco Undurraga Vicuña, which has been in existence for over 140 years!
Santiago Walking Tour
Did you know that Plaza de Armas is where Chile's km 0 is located? And that the Palacio de la Moneda dates to 1805 and is where the traditional changing of the guard takes place? You will learn this and many other interesting facts and historical details on this tour, which is a pure lesson in architecture and history.
